Make-Ahead Thanksgiving Sides To Help Save Time

Thanksgiving is here! this is one of my favorite holidays. I love the smells, gathering around the table with family, friends, and enjoying each other’s company while eating some amazing grub! My mom would, and still goes all out for Thanksgiving. I can count on the fact that Ma will have pretty much every vegetable on her table.

We all have our go to recipes that are a must for the big turkey day. I’m obsessed with stuffing. One recipe we enjoy is Sausage, Cranberry Stuffing. The last few years I have been making slow cooker stuffing and it’s a hit with the family. This year I’m serving up the cornbread stuffing from Trader Joe’s. YUM!

On my YouTube Channel, I recently shared some make-a-head Thanksgiving dishes. I have never made a sweet potato casserole before. It was so good! The recipe was from The Six Sisters Celebrate The Seasons Cookbook.  Go HERE to print out the recipe.

Dessert is the best at Thanksgiving! We love pie. My kids can eat a whole pumpkin pie on their own. It’s impressive really. This time I whipped up some yummy Cherry Pie Bars. This recipe was from the cookbook, Slab Pies. This recipe is AMAZING and I’m serving it up this year.
