INGREDIENTS:
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 small diced onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 Tbs canola oil
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup ketchup
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish: Chopped green onions and sprinkle on sesame seeds.
DIRECTIONS:
- Put everything into the slow cooker and cook on low for 3 hrs.
- When done cooking, remove the chicken shred or slice it.
- Add the chicken back into the sauce, stir, and cook for another 30 minutes then enjoy!
Freezer Meal: Label a gallon freezer bag: Add all ingredients into the bag. Remove the air and seal up the bag. Lay flat in the freezer. Allow the bag to thaw in the refrigerator starting the day before cooking.
