Mississippi Roast Sliders

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (3-4 lbs) chuck roast
  • 4-5 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 packet Au Jus gravy mix
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix

 

Sliders Sauce

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 Tbs brown sugar
  • 2 Tbs Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place roast in the slow cooker with the ranch and gravy mix sprinkled on top. Add in the butter and pepperoncini.
  2. Cook over low heat for 8 hrs.
  3. When done cooking, shred and remove as much fat as possible.
  4. Place the bottom half of the rolls of your choice on the bottom of the baking dish and place shredded meat on top.
  5. Place slices of provolone cheese on top of meat then place the buns on top.
  6. To make the sauce that will pour over the top of the sliders, melt butter, add brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder, and mix.
  7.  Brush sauce on sliders generously, cover with tin foil and bake at 375°F for 10 minutes. Take the foil off and bake for another 10 minutes.
  8. cut, serve, and enjoy!
